Our sleeping, dining and living areas create warmth and comfort with all the luxuries of a first class hotel. Our dining menus reflect excellence in skill and produce and we review local and on-site activities and attractions to make sure you go home with a memorable experience.
An hours drive from Glasgow, The Lodge was originally built in 1864, and occupies a truly spectacular position on the banks of Loch Goil.
The main Lodge comprises of seven bedrooms, all en suite, dining room and living room each individually designed to create warmth whilst being surrounded by sheer luxury. At the bottom of the garden is the self contained Summer house an intimate retreat to get away from it all and of course the Tree House the alternative dining experience.
The Lodge is unique, our exceptional levels of customer service, paying attention to every detail, is adopted by all our resident staff who strive to make your stay as memorable and enjoyable as possible. We offer the simple things that mean so much like tea/coffee trays in the morning, picnic hampers and rugs during the day and Horlicks/Hot Chocolate and hot water bottles at night.
The Lodge is an adventure playground for Children and we have invested our time in trying to meet their needs by developing an organic children's menu and organising high chairs, cots, car seats and push chairs. Making their stay more enjoyable and your stay easier.

At the Lodge we guarantee this will be the most memorable, relaxed day of your life. Simple and intimate, lavish and glamorous we can cater for every brides desires.
The local Church of Scotland in Lochgoilhead or Carrick are available for weddings or have the local registrar carry out the ceremony at the Lodge. All arrangements for either a civil or religious ceremony are made directly by us with local registrar and Minister. The Lodge is also licensed for Civil Partnership.
A ceremony for 24 can be held in the quaint but romantic tree house or 50 theatre style in the Victorian Dining Room.
Followed by your choice of Wedding reception for up to 24 guests in the Victorian Dining Room or up to 50 guests in our Marquee on the Lawn. From Jan 2008, The lodge will also be able to cater for 50 guests in our newly erected conservatory, individually designed to provide an elaborate setting for any Wedding or celebration.
Alice, our experienced, on site wedding planner will co-ordinate your every requirement organising entertainment, accommodation locally for your non-residents, wedding cakes and cars. Working with our resident florist and chef your wedding will be packaged exactly as you like it.
The Summerhouse at the bottom of the garden is also the perfect place to spend your wedding night.
