Hold your event against a backdrop of colourful heritage from the canal age. The museum is in a quiet location beside Battlebridge Basin, a surprising urban beauty spot near St. Pancras and King's Cross. We have our own mooring, so you can arrive by boat, and we are also one of London's most connected venues by train, with King's Cross, Euston, and St. Pancras International all within walking distance.
There are main galleries on two floors and a smaller meeting room on the first floor. The ground floor gallery is ideal for receiving guests and serving refreshments in impressive surroundings. The first floor offers a large space with a splendid victorian timber roof for a presentation, conference, dinner, or party. You are free to choose your own outside caterers for drinks, snacks or a lavish meal.There is access to the canalside from the ground floor.
The large galleries are NOT AVAILABLE daytimes Tuesdays to Sundays. They can be hired on most Mondays all day, and before 1000 and after
1630 most other days.

We are within walking distance of six railway stations. There are through trains to these stations from most parts of the midlands and north of England, from Brighton, Gatwick, Heathrow and Luton airports and from Paris and Bruxelles. St. Pancras International Station is at most 10 minutes' walk.There is easy access to all parts of London by Underground, rail, and bus, including extensive night bus services.

OUR LOVELY BUILDING
The museum building has character in abundance. It was built as an ice warehouse for Carlo Gatti, a celebrated ice merchant and restaurant owner, who also poularised ice cream. One of the Victorian ice wells which are beneath the floor can be viewed through an opening. The charm of the building and its setting appeal to people of all ages and from all backgrounds. Events can be as formal or informal as you want to make them and there is scope for you to create a theme reflecting your business. The decor is brick industrial. The exhibitions add colour and charm. The facilities are very modern and of a high standard
The venue offers excellent access for people with disabilities.
Special lighting arrangements can dramatically highlight the beautiful features of the Victorian building.
