The wedding capital of the world, about 120,000 last year, is now trying to become the Gay Wedding capital of the world. This is strange, the state that allows legal prostitution and gambling does not recognise or sanction same sex weddings or civil partnerships.

So as long as you do the legal thing at the registry office, you can go to Las Vegas and let your imagination run riot for a wedding ceremony that can range from the traditional to the downright wacky, getting married in a helicopter as it hovers over the Grand Canyon! The chapels all have different packages to cater for almost every pocket. They will even give you a certificate (not legally binding of course) that you can put on your wall.
